Golden Hill Elementary School of the Creative and Performing Arts is supported by many volunteers who help make the school year FUN with various events and programming for students and their families. The events listed below are a product of the teamwork between the PTA and Golden Hill Elementary School Foundation (GHEF). More specific information about each event will become available as the date nears. We encourage parent participation to make all of our events a success for our students.

Schoolwide Playdate
Friday, August 8, 2025, 5pm
Join fellow Gators on the playground for a casual playdate. Bring a friend and make a few new ones before the first day!
Back to School Night

Meet your child’s teacher, hear from Principal Dr. Anderson, and get a feel for the Golden Hill SCPA campus.
Lunch with a Loved One

Join your child for special one-on-one time at lunch! Bring a favorite meal and enjoy the recess from work on the lunch benches of the Golden Hill playground.

Each year, over 300,000 students in TK through 12th grade create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a lifelong love for learning.

Red Ribbon Week

This annual week reminds students to make good choices and live life drug free. Americans across the country make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be because they live Drug-Free. The week includes several events, including a school-wide Yoga Day on Monday, October 23, and an assembly.

One of three major fundraisers that support the Golden Hill Elementary Foundation (GHEF) which in turn, funds campus upgrades, arts, supplies, field trips, programming, grants, curriculum subscriptions, and more! Pathways of Hope Food and Toy Drives
Fullerton nonprofit Pathways of Hope works to support people who are experiencing food insecurity or facing the crisis of homelessness. Golden Hill partners with this organization every year to help bring food and toys to local families during the holiday season.
